McDonald's Menu Prices at 9185 N Desoto Ave ★3.6 (1392)

This location (Chatsworth McDonald’s at 9185 N. De Soto Ave, store #33615) is noticeably more expensive than other McDonald’s in the area, and the quality never matches the higher prices. Oddly enough their menu screen doesn’t even work. It just glitches and flickers. Very tacky. The drinks are always watered down; the Hi-C Orange literally tastes like tap water. I ordered a McFlurry that cost $5.19 plus an extra $0.75 for M&M’s, and it wasn’t even mixed. The toppings were just barely tossed on top, and when I asked for the M&M’s I was charged extra for, I was given attitude. The issue isn’t the workers themselves — it’s clearly management and ownership. There’s no consistency or care. Happy Meal toys are almost always outdated, so they’re never really “happy,” and the overall food quality reflects that. The hamburger wasn’t terrible, but of course something was missing, and it had practically no onions. This location seriously needs better management and quality control. Until that changes, I wouldn’t recommend coming here.

Drive thru here is insanely slow. I'd order inside instead if only it wasn't so dirty in there. Customer service is hit or miss, but I seem to encounter more that are consistently prone to making small mistakes, and the food is hit or miss. You get better quality earlier in the day than in then at night.

Overpriced & bad service. You might as well go to the other McDonald’s down the street… u can get the exact same thing but cheaper. As for the service it’s terrible and slow, the girls will stare and giggle at you from the back as if you don’t understand Spanish, instead of them coming to the front counter to help out guest that need to pay or pick up their food. The lobby and tables are always dirty as well with trash and crumbs.

I bought my food through drive-thru and the cashier who took my order never asked me what size I wanted my cold brew coffee. Besides, I told her I wanted it with a little ice. The cashier never asked me what size I wanted my cold brew coffee. The cashier came to pick up my food and the person at the window told her it was a large cold brew coffee and she told me they charged me for a medium coffee. She changed my coffee but in a very rude way. The service is terrible and this isn't the first time I've been to that McDonald's. It's always the same. I hope they train their employees and managers better to have better service because otherwise that restaurant won't be able to have good ratings.

I stopped by this Mcdonald yesterday because I was in the area and wanted to take advantage of their Friday deal. I used the app to get the code for the French fries and large coke. This Mcdonald only has 1 drive thru lane so it can get busy in the plaza it's in. I didn't have any issues when putting in my order through the drive thru and the service was fine. The issue I had was when they give me my fries and coke. I took a zip before leaving and the coke didn't taste correctly. So I parked in the curbside pickup area and walked in to fill up my drink at their fountain machine. No ice came out on either machine and the coke selection wasn't working so I went to the cashier area to let them know. They said their fountain machine wasn't working so they have to do it behind the counter. This time the coke tasted a little better but not the usual delicious flavor. The fries was seasoned well and they filled it up all the way.
