McDonald's Menu Prices at 16440 Bernardo Center Dr ★3.6 (1544)

Edit: I finally gave it another try, and that brought it from a three-star down to a one star. I was craving a burger because I had a bad day. I ended up with a chicken sandwich when I got home and opened it. Extremely disappointing, I won't be back. Original: We haven't been to a McDonald's in a while, just decided to swing by. We were told about a deal where he can get two double cheeseburgers and a small fry, which was supposed to be an additional dollar charge is what we were told. After adjusting a few things, I didn't realize that our bill went up $12. I look at the receipt and I was charged $3 something for the small fry which was stale and lacked salt. Wasn't a great revisit to the establishment. They were also down all soda when we came through.

Easy on/off freeway if you are going on 15 north. The person who was handing out the food was not very friendly and actually very wrong. He handed me a bag of food and I waited for my drink. He asked if I needed anything else and I said I was waiting for the drink. He told me I didn't order a drink and then told me what I ordered - I let him know that wasn't what I ordered and he huffed and turned around. About 1 min later out came the drink. No sorry, no oops, nothing. I get that people make mistakes, but when you do, just say sorry.

The manager acts like a little kid and starts yelling and whining at customers about problems at his own job. If you don't believe me, I can show you the dashcam footage of him aggressively whining like a 12 year old at me. McDonald's has become a joke in the past year. At this price point, you can get actual, real, better food; Not this slop.

UPDATE: I tried the McDonalds Big Mac Grinch Meal. The only things which make the Grinch meal different than a Big Mac Combo are: the Big Grinchy green box container, Green Grinch French Fry Salt and the absolutely cool Grinch socks. If you are a fan of dill pickle flavor, you will like the Grinch Fry Salt. I loved it, my Grandson...didn't (I took his for later use). The Grinch socks were a hit. We both got the Green Grinch socks and that was awesome. The meal is a bit pricier than a regular combo meal, but if the Grinch socks and curiosity about the Grinch Fry salt appeal to you; then definitely get the Grinch meal before it is gone. I tried the chicken wraps and a 2 cheeseburger meal. I went with the drive thru and service was fast as their was two drive up spaces and no waiting (Saturday at 6:30 pm) not sure how busy during the weekday. I asked to modify the condiments on the cheeseburgers, and the order was repeated back to me perfectly. The Agent at the drive thru was very friendly, even when answering my question I had on the wraps and modifying the cheeseburgers. The entire process (from order to receiving my food), seriously took less than 5 minutes. Food was prepared exactly to order and all items were ready when I got to the pick up window after paying. The drink was first item I received and was very cold and not leaking. All hot foods were freshly made and definitely had not sat under a heat lamp. This was my first visit to this McDonalds and I will definitely be coming back.

This location has terrible customer service, go to the one in Carmel mountain instead. Their system had an error and took my money but they didn’t give me my food. I eventually got a refund, but they can’t refund the time they wasted of my lunch break. Good customer service would have been to give me my food anyway
