McDonald's Menu Prices at 5185 S Jefferson ★2.8 (3021)

Very disappointing experience. Half of my order was missing, and while the staff did correct it, they were quite rude about it. Every table in the dining area was dirty, and the bathrooms were disgusting clearly not cleaned often. They smelled of urine ( women's) The food that I did get was only semi-fresh. Overall, this location really needs improvement in cleanliness, attitude, and food quality.

DIRTY PLACE, NOT NICE PEOPLE. When I need a decent meal, fast, often it’s McDonald’s. Ray Kroc would have fired everyone including the nicely dressed manager who should be replaced. One wise man remarked, “report this place, I haven’t seen a clean table in years.” Seems like doing the minimum is how this lady manages. Bad news. Here’s the score: Workers not cleaning ANYTHING at 2pm yesterday. It was after lunch and not a crazy rush. See photos: “OUT OF STOCK” in almost every entree but burgers. What, those lazy people didn’t want to make chicken. Chicago needs to send the DM or some suits need to call me and replace the DM with me. I’m a qualified chef😱, shareholder, and hospitality manager. When I started investigating, my beleaguered server who was not nice, got worried and said, “he be taking pictures.” He be doin’ just that to expose your filthiness, lack of product, and poor management. TOU SHOUKD GET A NEGATIVE ONE (-1) on your score. The parking lot and bathrooms were also littered. Do you use any bleach ever? The fries were cold, over-sales and it looked like my server at half of them. To get 3 ketchup packs, she made a scene. I tried to be gracious, but to no avail. Disgustingest McDonald’s to date ! CLEAN THIS PLACE YO AND HIRE SOME PEOPLE WHO WANT TO WORK.

I don’t know where to start, but this is the dirtiest, nastiest McDonald's I've ever visited in my life. My family and I were greeted by an unfriendly crew member. The woman with the long dreadlocks was wearing slides at 7 PM. At that time, you would expect the floors to be swept and mopped, but I could see everything where I was standing. There was a bottle on the counter that shouldn't have been near the food. I wanted to take more pictures, but I was ready to leave. The restroom was in horrible condition. I live in Florida, and the McDonald's there are much better and cleaner. Whoever is in charge of this McDonald's needs to do better.

The lady always working this location looks and sounds like she's never had a good day in her life. Her demeanor is offputting and her service is poor. The service overall is incredibly slow and they frequently state they are out of common items. The drive-thru is frequently ignored for several minutes at a time, even when no one is in line. If the franchise owner reads these reviews, this location is in dire need of new staff.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a surprisingly pleasant experience at this McDonald's! From the moment I walked in, I noticed how clean and well-kept everything was. The floors were tidy, the dining area looked well-maintained, and the tables were clean—something that’s not always guaranteed at fast food spots, so I definitely appreciated that. The staff inside were very friendly and welcoming. The cashier who took my order was not only efficient but also conversational, which made the experience feel a bit more personal and enjoyable. It’s always nice to interact with someone who brings a bit of warmth to their role rather than just rushing through the transaction. My order was taken quickly, and I didn’t have to wait long at all for the food. Everything was prepared correctly—no missing items, no mistakes—and it was delivered with a smile. The team behind the counter seemed to be working together well, moving quickly and efficiently while still maintaining great customer service. The restaurant wasn’t overly crowded, which made the entire experience feel more relaxed. I was able to find a seat easily, and I noticed that other guests seemed to be having a good time, too. The food itself tasted just fine—classic McDonald’s, hot and fresh, exactly what I expected and hoped for. All in all, this was one of the better McDonald's visits I’ve had in a while. Clean space, great staff, quick service, and correct orders go a long way, and this location definitely checked all those boxes. I’ll definitely return when I’m in the area!
