McDonald's Menu Prices at 1083 N Beal Pky ★3.3 (1933)

This McDonald’s is the worst McDonald’s in the Destin/fort Walton area. The food always sucks. The fries are never ever hot. They consistently leave items out of the bag. Once I ordered a Lemonade, and when I got it, it looked like they had squeezed lemons, and sugar into water to make lemonade? I work in service. I understand it’s not always an easy job and you can’t please everyone but this is 100 percent on the staff. I ordered food on the app tonight and when I pulled up to wait on my food my order was canceled. I had to go through the drive through to reorder and the points I spent on the app were not returned to me and I had to pay extra because I didn’t get the deals I used on the app. When I asked why my order was canceled everyone acted like that had no idea what could have possibly happened. I wasted gas and time and energy loading my child into the car and we almost weren’t even able to get what we came for. My husbands order turned out to be wrong because when the order was canceled I had no way of seeing what he had ordered and I had his phone because that’s what we ordered on so I had no way to contact him. I can’t imagine that Ronald McDonald would be pleased with this situation. I know how corporate restaurants work and I really hope this staff is reprimanded in some way shape or form. I’ll be reach back out in a few days if my points aren’t returned and I will not be returning to this McDonald’s until the google rating goes up. 3 stars is embarrassing and just lnow it’s deserved, coming from a server in the industry.

I am finding this with most McDonald's. If you go in, order at the kiosk because you will not see anyone at the register. My receipt was blank so I did not know my order number. You will wait and wait and wait and wait. And wait. The people are not very friendly but OK. I was not rude about the wait. It was just the way they were. All I can think of is that they hyper prioritize the drive through. I finally get my meal of one sandwich thrown down. No chance to ask for ketchup. I did not try drinks because past experience had rancid tea. There was a long line behind me. Only one person ahead. Sandwich felt cold. I am done with this company. I tried a few locations over the last few years to see if it was just the one because I hate leaving had reviews. This one was a little cleaner. About it. Maybe try the drive through if you want to go.

Same food as every other McDonald's, but the staff were amazing. The drive through was extremely busy, but the staff was patient while I got my grandkids orders in! Great job

Waited MORE THAN 36 minutes for an online order that I never received. After the 35 minute mark I walked out. I placed a Mobile “pick up at counter order”, there were about 6 other customers waiting when I walked in. There were maybe 8-9 cars in the drive though and 3-4 in curbside pick up. In the 36 minutes I waited or my order 3-4 of ALL these customers combined received their orders. This location is averaging 1 customer about every 10-11 minutes. I have waited LESS TIME for hibachi. NO ONE in this restaurant had the slightest sense of urgency. Besides workers waddling around, smoking outside, and cooking up 5 cent beef patties like they’re made of egg shells, I don’t really understand what this place is selling. Appalling service. Spent $20 for food I didn’t receive after 35+ minutes. Have yet to receive a call back or refund.

I would honestly find a patch of local grass to grub on before ever going to this establishment again… people please, if a McDonald’s ever deserved to be closed down it’s this one… I live a block away and have a 7yo so we eat here more than I’d like to considering the service… this is a petition to change management and get some capable people in charge of a place in a prime location… McDonald’s please do better!!! The staff here management down is pathetic…. Service is awful…
