McDonald's Menu Prices at 2326 Southport Commons Drive ★2.7 (88)

We ordered a simple coffee with an extra shot of espresso around 2:10 PM and thats apparently such a jarring request here they had us pull forward while they likely had to google what a macchiato was. After 10 minutes of waiting while over a dozen cars behind us got their order, I walked inside to ask for a progress report and the future doctor working the front counter could barely string words together; about 15 minutes after this we got our coffee which I dont think even has the extra espresso shot. These genuises took 20+ minutes to make a coffee, why even have it on the menu if it's that confusing to make? And if the manager reads this, I'm sure you're doing your best, but please have someone sober and capable of basic speech work the front counter. If I could give zero stars I would.

My husband and I came here at 8pm after a wedding for a late night meal. It wasn’t busy. Now having been to multiple Mcdonalds late at night it’s common sense that usually if no one is at the first window you pull up to the second to pay right? Apparently not. The manager caught a huge attitude “bAcK uP”. We didn’t realize she was talking to us. “yOu nEeD tO bAcK uP aNd pAy!” We then realized this grown adult who was not at her post was talking to us. My Husband had tried to pay at the second window, but this manager wasn’t having it. He let her know no one was back there so that’s why he pulled up. Her response? “I kNoW, bUt yOu nEeD tO bAcK uP aNd pAy”. She had absolutely NO remorse for HER MESS UP. The wonderful girl who took our order and gave us our food was super apologetic and so sweet. That manager needs a reality check though. If you don’t like your job get a new one. Preferably one not where she’s working with the customers, since she doesn’t know how to talk to them. If you messed up that’s fine, but DO NOT take it out on the customer.

Reviews are right DO NOT come to this place. If you can’t figure out a drive thru then you shouldn’t be open. My food was ice cold, fries were rock solid, got wrong size fries, can’t even get the drink right, they have to confirm with you what you ordered. Shouldn’t you keep track?

Just went thru the drive up window. First time at this location thinking, new restaurant food should be better! Sprite was flat, fries were cold and soggy, nugget cold as they come and McDouble was not fresh. I guess that’s what I get for thinking. No receipts in bag either

Been here multiple times since its opening. It’s not been super pleasant at any point. Now, wait times are beyond sit-in restaurant times. 20+ mins for a mcchicken and Big Mac meal. The food is always room temperature or cold, soggy fries, not fresh and crispy- even after 20 mins. Also, idc that much about the Monopoly games, but they’re not honoring the select menu items at this location. Large drinks, Big Macs, filet o fish— not giving you any monopoly pieces. That’s a big incentive for certain items people choose… to take that away is kinda ~shady~ just saying. Anyway, the scary one at Knights Way is always hot and fast.
