The absolute worst restaurant on the planet. Placed online order arrived about 15 minutes later and food not done stood at the counter for 13 minutes and listened to the very rude employee talking trash about whoever ordered online not being there to pick up obviously she wasn’t paying attention or she would’ve noticed I had been there. The food was cold and looked as if my child had made it large fry was las than a quarter full and ice cold. Was told they no longer offered pup cups even though I had been there and gotten one the day before. Walked there with my pups asked for a cup of water for them was told she wasn’t allowed to give away cups. Needless to say that will be our last visit to Independence McDonalds I’ll make the extra distance and at least get good service and fresh or food at BK! Shame on you McDonalds

Not Your Average Golden Arches: A McDonald’s Anomaly I’m 51, and I’ve been walking into McDonald’s since the fries were cooked in beef tallow and the McDLT was still alive and kicking. Usually, the experience is predictable to the point of déjà vu: same lights, same smells, same slightly-too-hard seats. You go because you know exactly what you’re getting — comfort through consistency. But every now and then you walk into a McDonald’s that breaks the matrix. This one did. Modernized "Experience of the Future" (EOTF) — And Yes, It’s Real The second I stepped inside, I knew I wasn’t in a standard-issue, late-90s McDonald’s. This was clean, modern, tech-driven, and actually… nice? Digital kiosks replace the old counter panic-ordering dance. No more shouting modifications over fryer noise. The touchscreen gets the order right every time, and you can tweak your burger like you're coding it. And the kicker? Table service. You sit. A human brings your meal. At a McDonald’s. Wild. Food Quality — Let’s Be Adults About It There’s a myth floating around that McDonald’s food is “bad for you” in some mysterious, apocalyptic way. After 51 years of unofficial field research, here’s the truth: The ingredients are exactly what they say they are. The eggs in the McMuffin are real, cracked on a grill. The fries are potatoes, not alchemy. The Quarter Pounder is now fresh beef cooked to order, and the difference is obvious. It’s a burger, not a hockey puck. Is it health food? No. Neither is 90% of restaurant food. But the idea that this stuff is radioactive nonsense is outdated internet folklore. Why This Review Exists I didn’t write this because I’m a McDonald’s fanboy (I’ve eaten too many lukewarm burgers in my life to ever be that). I wrote it because Google asked, and this particular location earned it. Some McDonald’s locations are still stuck in 1998. Sticky floors, broken ice cream machine, weird lighting. But these modernized EOTF spots? Totally different universe. Calling out the good ones actually matters. The Verdict Believe whatever you want about fast food — I’m not here to convert you. I’m just here with the facts: This location is clean. The technology works. The food is fresh. The service is shockingly good. The entire experience feels like a genuine upgrade, not a corporate buzzword. If you happen to find a McDonald’s like this — an anomaly — don’t just eat there. Review it. It’s the only kind worth talking about.

I have had so many issues with this McDonald’s. Either not getting all my food or they somehow skip over my order and I am stuck going to the next window while they serve car after car behind me. The second window is the window of the forgotten where you will sit until they decide to finally get back to you. I don’t understand how orders are not being processed in the order they are receiving them. My order was simple and small. The workers were all confused and going back and forth with each other. At the first window they admitted they were handing out the wrong orders to people. I did request a refund and was provided one. I usually have patience for people and places but this happens too often that something needs fixed.

Mike is a very good worker, constantly busy, and has amazing costumer service. would for sure consider giving him a raise! other workers are currently on their phones, telling him what to do - “make sure to help”. She says?

TERRIBLE customer service at the drive through window. The lady taking my order was VERY rude. The tone of her voice and the way she did not welcome a customer was very uninviting. She told me I could use my words while I was looking at the menu after I did not give her a response back after her very rude introduction. Very UNPROFESSIONAL!!

MenuPriceTracker vs. Delivery Apps & Other Price Sites

How do these prices compare to what Uber Eats, DoorDash, or Grubhub show?

Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub, and Seamless inflate McDonald's menu prices by 15–30% on top of the in-store price before adding delivery fees, service fees, and tip. The price you see on a delivery app is not what McDonald's charges at the counter. MenuPriceTracker shows the real menu price from the McDonald's app — what you'd actually pay walking into the restaurant or ordering at the kiosk.

Why not just check TripAdvisor for McDonald's prices?

TripAdvisor doesn't track individual McDonald's store prices. Any price information on TripAdvisor is user-submitted, covers only a small fraction of locations, and can be months or years out of date. MenuPriceTracker tracks store-level prices for 9,200+ US McDonald's locations across all 50 states, refreshed monthly from the McDonald's app.

Where does MenuPriceTracker get McDonald's price data?

Prices are collected at the store level from the McDonald's app, covering 9,200+ locations in every US state. Each store's data is refreshed monthly so you see real local prices — not a national estimate, a delivery markup, or crowdsourced guesses. The national average, state averages, and per-city averages on this site are all computed from that same store-level data.
