McDonald's Menu Prices at 308 W Wade Hampton Blvd ★3.1 (2091)

Stopped in to get a quick burger and fries. The place was clean and the food was typical McDonald’s. I have to say the service, or lack of services was typical McDonald’s too. The personal touch was missing completely. Had to place the order on a kiosk, and the food was brought out but that was it. Couldn’t even get a refill on my drink. When I left there were 6 people waiting on somebody to ask what can we do for you. If only I had driven a quarter mile further I could eaten at Culver’s.

I don't always eat fast food… but when I do… It comes wrapped in paper, smells like nostalgia, and answers the call of hunger at exactly the wrong—or very right—hour. **McDonald's** doesn’t knock politely. It pulls up in the drive-thru, headlights on, saying, “You up?” Step inside and you’re greeted by the soft glow of menu boards and the quiet confidence of a place that knows exactly who it is. Fries hiss like they’re telling secrets. A burger lands in your hands warm, familiar, dependable. Somewhere nearby, a kid laughs. Somewhere inside you, your inner food critic takes the night off. There’s a mini-scene that plays out every time: late night, slightly tired, slightly proud of surviving the day. You unwrap the meal like a small, edible victory. No judgment. No pretense. Just you and a combo that’s been practicing consistency longer than most of us have been alive. And here’s the quiet wisdom McDonald’s serves best: not every moment needs to be artisanal. Sometimes you just need reliable, warm, and ready—on your terms. Consistency, like comfort, is a feature, not a flaw. Stay golden, my friends.

We placed our order on a kiosk at 2:39pm and did not receive our food until almost 3:05. We came inside so that my kids could play in the indoor playground, and my kids were waiting patiently, but very hungry. There were multiple people who ordered after us that received their meals before us, and I approached the counter twice to check on our meal. The only employee that was helpful was a woman named Shelli (she was great) who took care of our meal herself and personally walked our meal over to our table and double checked we had everything we needed. I totally understand slight delays, and even shift changes etc, but I feel this was a simple mistake that should have been fixed the first time I spoke up. I appreciate Shelli, but wanted to bring this situation to light in hopes it doesn’t happen to another mom of little kids, who are also hungry.

This is one of the only locations with a play area. It was well maintained and had numerous children having fun. We had our food ordered and to our table within less than 5 minutes. The bathrooms were clean.

Ordered two items. Waited for 15 min for the second item and they forgot about my order so I had to get their attention before they brought it to me. They had me pull forward in the drive through and they served 10 cars behind me before my honking finally got their attention and they came out and asked what I needed.
