McDonald's Menu Prices at 1001 Dutch Fork Road ★3.2 (1161)

The restaurant was clean. The atmosphere was Grinch gorgeous. The fries and nuggets were hot and fresh. The mcdouble was sloppy. The cashier was very friendly and helpful in deciding our order.

I am giving the service here a 5 because there were probably only two people working the last week I have been there....and I've been there 3 times to eat. I feel so sorry for those people trying to do all those orders. IT IS CRAZY busy in there! I can NOT believe the owner(s) are not in there working alongside these poor employees, if they are that short-handed. The food was fine, could have been hotter, but honestly, I just feel so sorry for the few people working there trying to keep up with so many orders, I could overlook it. This USED to be THE best McDonalds in the area....it's like they were keeping up with the Jones' next door at CFA in customer service, speed, and quality of food. If this continues, and the owner(s) do not step in, this place is going to go the way of the hamburger place next door that recently closed. They couldn't get anyone to work, either, I guess. So sad for what could potentially be a GREAT McDonalds!

So I used my mobile app to order and had points for a free happy meal. My granddaughter wanted nugget meal, so I ordered the 4-piece meal with a dr. pepper. Didn't ask for any upgrades at all. Got to the window and the lady said $1.10. I ask what that was for and she said taxes. When I got home and looked at my receipt, it said $1.00 upcharge for a medium dr. pepper (which I did not ask for and did not get, they gave me the small child cup that comes with the happy meal), and also the $0.10 cent charge was for drive-thru take out fee! Review your receipt before leaving!

Awful experience. Poor communication, rude staff. Managers are supposed to solve problems, not make them worse. We left without our issue being solved and, overall, very upset. Save yourself the trouble and go next door to Chick-fil-A, where they always have two lines wrapped around the building, because there, the consumer is still valued and respected.

How hard is it to turn off online ordering if you’re not open? How do I go about getting a refund now since I paid for something that clearly was never going to be made. Do better!
