McDonald's Menu Prices at 5401 Telephone Road ★3.7 (1691)

I ordered a home style burger with extra peppered mustard. Instead of the extra pepper mustard they put some spicy sauce on it and I can’t eat spicy food at all my mouth will literally break out in blisters. Thanks a lot … something that I didn’t need to deal with

I have visited different McDonald’s locations on multiple occasions and have always been treated with respect and empathy. However, this particular location is possibly the worst in the entire Houston area. During my visit, I had to attend an emergency video call that lasted approximately 15 minutes. Since the general seating area was very noisy, I sat at a table in the children’s area. At that time, there were no children present, as it was around 11:00 a.m. and the area was completely empty. While I was on the call, a Hispanic woman named Maria approached me, accompanied by two other people who appeared to be inspecting the restaurant. After a short time, and while I was still on the video call, Maria turned toward me and, in an unkind manner, told me that I could not be there, that the area was only for parents with children, and that I needed to leave. I understand the policy; however: There was no one using that area at the time. My stay would have been brief. I was a paying customer, not taking advantage of the establishment. Beyond the rule itself, the way I was addressed was inappropriate. A manager should always maintain a respectful and courteous tone with customers. If this is how customers are treated, it is concerning to imagine how employees are treated. As a manager, she appears to have chosen the wrong line of work.

The lady today through the drive through was nice, clear, and fast. Our food was hot but most of all our coffee was nice and hot too! Thanks!

Honestly I don’t do reviews but this was a super awful experience I ordered my food at 11:09 not even 5 minutes of me having the bag I realized I was missing a burger I went to the window to tell them what I was missing and the manager swears it’s in the bag I’m telling him it isn’t he asked to see the bag to prove me wrong and he was wrong the burger wasn’t there then he proceeds to tell us it’s going to be 5-8 minutes wait I said you know what fine I can wait it’s currently 12:02 am almost an hour of me being here and we still don’t have the burger then I went thru the drive thru again to get my refund because who wants to eat food an hour later honestly I love McDonald’s my app can confirm that with how many points I have and how regularly I come but this was unacceptable truly Just in case no one believes me there’s the receipt with the time of when I ordered. Updating really fast the Managed was i guess way more busy then coming to give us a refund we had to get a refund and explanation or nothing from a regular worker he wasn’t the problem if anything he was very nice and apologized unlike the manager.

The night crew for this store was extremely nice and friendly I had ordered online for drive through when my car broke down they didn’t tell me to leave like other McDonalds do for drive through orders they actually was extremely respectful and gave me 0 attitude so I really appreciate that 10/18/25
