McDonald's Menu Prices at 172 Washington St ★3.4 (2132)

I’m a transportation driver and frequently pass through Hartford while working. When you drive for a living, finding a restroom can be very important during long shifts. I stopped at this McDonald’s hoping to use the restroom, grab a quick breakfast, and wait for my rider. The bathrooms were locked, which I understand is sometimes necessary in busy areas. However, I went to the counter prepared to buy food and ask for access to the restroom, and no one acknowledged me or asked if I needed help, even though staff looked directly at me. A simple “How can I help you?” would have made a big difference. Drivers like me are working long hours and often rely on places like this for a quick stop. I hope management encourages staff to be more attentive to customers in the future.

This McDonald’s offers the Happy Meal with 4 chicken nuggets, but not with 6. When I asked the manager about it, she mentioned I would need to pay an extra $2, which seemed a bit unusual since the price difference isn’t that high. According to the menu, 4 nuggets alone are $2.59. I believe this could have been handled in a friendlier way. Also, there’s no playground.

Stopped for a coffee, a quick meal, and a short rest while traveling. The food hall and restroom were clean enough. Coffee and meal was hot, and service was quick.

Ordered food with DoorDash just to get food that was cold and sitting there for who knows how long. Fries were cold and stale and the chicken in the snackwraps were small and one wasn’t even cooked properly and my husband couldn’t bite into it. We called the restaurant to complain only for the manager to act like she didn’t even care she told my husband to talk to DoorDash, um how stupid are you DoorDash only picks up the food they don’t make it. I will be finding the number for corporate and complain about her and this horrible food. I’ll switch McDonald’s next time before I order again. This place needs to be shut down or find employees who actually care about providing quality food and who are not just there to get a damn pay check. She is really lucky I have no vehicle right now because I would have drove over there real fast.

I requested to use the bathroom before I ordered and the front lady said it was for customers only. I told her I would be ordering and she said I would need to order now before she let me use the bathroom. I kindly walked out the audacity! Then none of them speak English so it was know use asking to speak with a manager! Never again!
