McDonald's Menu Prices at 2900 Wakefield Pines Drive ★2.8 (810)

My visit to this McDonald's location was my first experience dining in, and unfortunately, it was quite unsatisfactory. The cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired, as both the tables and floors were dirty, and there was a strong unpleasant odor inside. Additionally, the customer service was lacking; there was only one staff member handling food service and the cash register, and I noticed that they were also taking orders from customers outside. I had to wait nearly 15 minutes for my meal, and when it finally arrived, the worker forgot to include the drink that was supposed to come with it. I had to inquire about it to receive my drink. Overall, this experience was quite disappointing, and I will not be returning to this McDonald's location in the future.

Always a very average meal. Only go here on rare occasions as it's definitely a mid option these days but my SO wanted the Grinch Box. Fries were cold even though I was eating them in store waiting for the 2nd Grinch box. Pretty typical, but it would be nice to get hot fries once in awhile. Nuggets were pretty good as usual and burger was reportedly decent.

Pretty good experience here with the family. Absolutely dead on a Sunday so nearly had the place to ourselves. Great looking restaurant inside and out. Atmosphere was 9/10. Prices were reasonable and the food was decent. Brisket was 8/10 and the sausage was on point 10/10. The pulled pork served here tasted similar to Raleigh's award winning spot The Pit. 9/10 My boy ordered ribs and really liked them. Sides were pretty good too but wasn't a fan of the gruyere mac n cheese. Wish I tried something else. The young bartender that took our order was misguided in telling my wife that chopped BBQ and pulled pork were the same thing. We both kinda laughed it off on the way home though. 🤪 Nice guy though. Would go back if we're in downtown Durham.

Update: Against my better judgment, I gave them yet another chance. I’ve lost count how many times now. And yes… once again, they disappointed me, they let me down. This time they only got two things right: they actually added onions (but not extra, just regular) and they skipped the mustard. At least no mayo either. From now on, any changes to the sandwich? Better to just do it myself. Cuz last time: Ordered extra onions, got a ghost. Asked for light mayo, got a ghost. No mustard, they nailed it! But they did bless me with a half-cheese patty. Do you see any onions, or is this a magic trick?

Went through drive-through and ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. When I opened up the wrapper to my chicken sandwich, there was a bite taken out of the sandwich. When tried calling store due to me not being close anymore. Got no answer on the phone.
