McDonald's Menu Prices at 9525 E 71st St S ★3.4 (2027)

This was an upsetting and unnecessary experience at the drive-thru. I ordered a hot fudge sundae and received one with an almost nonexistent amount of fudge. When I politely asked if a small amount more could be added, the employee immediately shook her head “no,” without explanation. I then calmly asked if the fudge could at least be placed in a small cup or container, and she snapped and yelled “no” through the drive-thru window. The tone was openly hostile and completely disproportionate to the request. What made the situation worse was the visible discomfort of the other employees. They stood nearby appearing tense and apologetic, as though this behavior was not unfamiliar to them. It was clear they felt uncomfortable—and frankly, embarrassed—by how I was being treated. I want to be clear: this request was made for my young daughter. It was her birthday, and this small sundae was the only treat I was able to get her. Being met with such aggression over something so minor was disheartening and genuinely hurtful. Mistakes happen. Policies exist. But there is no justification for yelling at a customer who is being polite—especially under these circumstances. This interaction reflects very poorly on the management and overall culture at this location.

I have never had an experience this bad at a fast food restaurant in my LIFE. I placed an order through the app showed up to the drive through and sat there for 5 mins and NO one tried taking our order. We pulled up to the first window and sat there for a few mins and SEVERAL people passed by the window and could obviously see our car and would not come to the window. We pulled up to the next window and tried again, same thing and no response. We rounded and did the same thing 3 TIMES. The doors on the building were locked so we couldn’t come inside. They were obviously open as the app took my order. Would love to know why staff is blatantly refusing service. Crazzzzyyyyy.

The sweet tea tasted like mildew so I had to pour it out and waste a whole large drink, also paid for sauce packets and never got them! Worst McDonald’s experience I’ve ever had

You know, it's McDonald's, seen one you've seen them all. I really dislike using a kiosk to order. Its worst when the staff ignore you so they don't have to take your order. I wish they would add a buzzer you could push so they knew and would take your order. Or shock collars might be even more fun.

This is the McDonald’s closest to my house but, I’ll be making sure to go out of my way to another location. The cashiers are careless and dismissive. The manager, (elderly woman,) was shockingly rude and condescending. I work in the food industry, I’m always understanding and polite and I’m aware of how easy things can be handled. From food being cold or missing or today to the app code for Friday’s free medium free not working correctly, that was out of my control.. was treated horribly. The manager tried telling me to pull around the line from the window more than once to order when I was trying to place my order, cutting me off while speaking. Continued to tell me how wrong I am and how I’m not using the app correctly. Was abrupt and rude with taking my money. Several workers walked near the window to look at me so I’m SURE they were talking about me. Kindness goes a long way and I will be taking my money- anywhere else but here. My mother was afraid they were going to spit in our food so you lost half the cost of our bill just from the horrible service, I can’t imagine how much more money these people are costing the franchise owner.
