McDonald's Menu Prices at 3909 S Congress Ave ★3.4 (1745)

I don't know who the manager is here, but whomever it is needs to be at EVERY McDonald's, they had everything right, food so hot it burned my mouth and that's exactly what I love, enough salt in the fries, thy actually added my Mac sauce and the right amount to my McDouble, my nuggets were steaming hot and th lemonade was perfect. And get this.... THEY DID NOT FORGET THE SAUCE OR NAPKINS. It was so good I tried to call while I was eating to thank them but no one answered.

If I could only give negative star ratings. I just went w my children and waited 30 minutes for our food. We order inside to get our food to go. I went up to the counter after waiting 20 minutes, and they brought out everything but the smoothie five minutes later. It took another 5 min for our Smoothie. This is fast food and it took longer than a sit down restaurant to get our food! The 30 minute wait was incredible, but what made the experience unbelievable was the sketchy parking lot. Lots of people smoking and loitering and a strange Tangiers atmosphere. The words open air drug market come to mind. Needless to say this Ronald McDonald's is far scarier than Pennywise and Derry, Maine. I will never return.

Well.... I must say the service is a bit slow when it comes to ordering. However, they will give you your order in a hurry and quickly close the window without a word. Be sure to check your order before leaving the drive thru because half the time there's something missing. When doing mobile ordering, you don't get the exact amount of condiments you ask for specifically either. For example, I asked for 8 ketchups, 2 butters and 2 jellys. What I got was 3 ketchups, 6 butters, 2 jellys and 1 hotcake syrup..... I didn't even have hotcakes. Now I must say also that in their defense, the area doesn't seem very safe to be honest as there are a lot of homeless around who sleep not far from the drive thru window. It is a bit scary because at times they do try to hit you up for money or food as soon as you leave if your window is rolled down (which is becoming more common around fast food places in Austin I've noticed). I have have learned not to go without my dog. Otherwise, the staff there seem like they would be friendly if they would perhaps communicate. :)

I loved McDonald's back home. But for some reason the people making the food can't read what it is or just gives you whatever is ready. I ordered a #2, medium. Then I checked the bag while sitting in my car, and it was a $5 meal. Spicy nuggets, spicy McChicken.

DON'T GO HERE, I would give 0 stars if I could. Their service was terrible and nobody spoke English, the workers ignored us and seemed like they didn't want to be there at all. It took a long time to receive our food, and once we did get it the order wasn't correct. There were quite a few patrons waiting and also upset about their orders being incorrect.
