Stopped at the McDonald’s just off I-35, right across from Buc-ee’s north of Temple. 🛣️ First thing I noticed—this is a very modern McDonald’s ✨. The design is sleek, minimal, and far from the busy, poster-filled McDonald’s of years past. The dining room is extremely clean 🧼, and the whole place runs like a well-oiled machine ⚙️. Seating is very limited 🪑, but with most orders coming from Uber Eats 🚗, Ticket2Go 📱, and mobile pickups, that seems intentional. The restaurant isn’t fully cashless yet 💵—the kiosks accepted cash, bills, and change—but I can easily see it going fully cashless soon, even with options for cryptocurrency 💰 payments. A dining room attendant 👩‍🍳 was available the entire time I was there, extremely helpful, pleasant, and professional 😄. The counter was super efficient ⚡, with dedicated shelves for mobile and delivery orders 📦, and even a separate late-night pickup entry 🌙. Parking was convenient 🚗, especially for those grabbing mobile orders. No clutter, no signs everywhere, just a clean, organized, modern setup 🏢. Outside, traffic can be a bit hectic—honking is part of the soundtrack 📢—but once inside, everything is smooth and futuristic for a McDonald’s 🤖. Overall, a refreshingly modern, clean, and highly efficient McDonald’s 🍔, clearly designed for today’s mobile and delivery-focused world 📲.

I went through the drive-thru about 1130, ordered 2 meals. I asked the lady taking my order at the speaker for an uncommon special request and didnt get my usual response. She was great. Food was fresh, delicious and I haven't been so happy with a McDonald's in a very long time. I think she is a manager and I didnt see anyone else working with her. Anyhow, just wanted to say thank you Audrey great job. YOUR AWESOME, keep it up!!! This woman might need a few thousand extra on her income. Just sayin

I never had a problem with mobile orders here early in the morning. My wife and I both work nights, and if she needs some fries and “crispy sprite” to help unwind after a shift, this is the place we choose. My double meat sausage mcmuffin has always come out correct and quick. I can’t speak to the afternoon shift or menu.

Ordered food and got home to find one of our burgers didn't have a patty. Didn't want to drive back since it was cold and starting to rain. Tried calling several times to let them know and only got voicemail.

You are alone essentially. There are zero employees working and you order from a kiosk. They drop your oder on a book shelf then vanish back in the back. There is no beverage station or condiments so if you need anything you have to wait for another customer to oder from the kiosk then once their food is dropped on the shelf QUICKLY try to get their attention for help. Other than shouting for help there is no way to reach anyone in the back. Worst design layout ever. If this were any other business other than a McDonalds it would mot have lasted its first week open. Do better.
