McDonald's Menu Prices at 1540 S Irby St ★3.2 (1713)

I had the worst experience while trying to get a quick meal while recovering from the snowstorm tonight. Ran out of food, of course grocery stores are closed, so I HAD to come to this restaurant just to put something on my stomach. First, I waited over 20 minutes in drive-thru and then my food was COLD once I finally got it. I just don't understand. The burger also had extra ketchup and mustard sloppily added to it as well, which I did NOT order. Now here's what almost made me lose it, I parked/got out of my car, went to the door & calmly knocked on the glass and asked an employee who was sitting down on her phone if she could get a manager so that I could get a REFUND. Here comes this elderly, brown-skinned woman with little twists/dreads in her hair telling me "the inside is closed, DRIVE-THRU! DRIVE-THRU!" as she motioned her arm and finger for me to get BACK in the long line and wait another 20 minutes in drive-thru. I was steady holding up the bag of food, the drink, and my card and receipt telling her that I just SIMPLY wanted a darn refund but she kept on saying "DRIVE-THRU! DRIVE THRU!" as she turned and walked away while I was still standing in the cold, explaining what I needed. I was so mad that I was starting to call the police before I had caused a scene, but I just placed the nasty food and drink in front of their door, took a picture, and decided that I will be disputing this with my bank and contacting the BBB about this. There were also TWO other women who orders were incorrect and food was cold. They dismissed them and told them the same thing even when they walked to the drive-thru window. If that lady didn't want to work then she should've just stayed her rude behind home. She really needs a reality check because the next person might not think twice like I did, especially given the circumstances. All I wanted was a REFUND. I was just as important as the other customers in drive-thru. Her attitude was uncalled for and I truly hope she loses her job one day. I cannot believe that McDonald's even hire people who act like that but I guess I should've read the reviews. Never will I ever support McDonald's again. I won't stop fighting for my refund, believe that!

It’s just insane how bad people can be at doing their job. This McDonalds actually used to be good before their entire staff was adults. Seriously stop hiring people over 30 they can’t get a job anywhere else for a reason and they don’t want to work there you can tell by their attitudes. You are waiting a minimum of 10 minutes to order half the time you come here. I literally sat at the intercom for 8 minutes while the other intercom took 4 orders before taking mine? Like that’s just bad etiquette. Not the first time it’s happened either. The bad part is the headset to my intercom was on this time and you could hear the two employees just talking doing nothing then when I said “hello”? They cut the headset off and came back 3 or so minutes later to finally take my order. Anyways if it’s not the wait your order is wrong. I swear my order is wrong 3/4 times I go here. Mind you my order is always just 6 burgers 2 of them are plain 2 with mustard and ketchup 2 just onion and pickle 3 drinks and 3 fries. I mean seriously how do you mess that up so often? Idk I am just so surprised at how horrible this place is. Food is cold majority of the time. Fries never have salt. It’s a shame. Just shut down and let something else open or put someone in place who knows how to run a restaurant. Im actually going to make a conscious effort to never eat at any McDonald’s again certainly will never go here again. So good luck to those who chose to venture here.

Been going to this mcdonald’s for a while, and I can’t say i’ve ever had a good experience. I understand that they’re busy, which is why i’ll never get upset about the wait times. They’re doing their best with that, and i know to expect a wait when i come here. For that reason, we usually place online orders. After waiting in line for twenty minutes, we roll up to the speaker only to be told that we can only pick up two orders at a time. we had three, meaning we had to get back in line just to pick up our last order. I always place online orders, and i have never been told that. I understand placing multiple online orders is odd, but we’re broke college students. We did this not even two weeks ago at the same location with no issue. Not only that, they were incredibly rude to us when we asked for clarification. To have to go through all of that, plus them being insanely rude again at the window, just to have food missing and being told there’s “nothing they can do”. Is pretty upsetting. I understand you’re busy, but we had to pay for things we’re consistently not getting. I’d be a lot more understanding if they weren’t incredibly rude everytime.

I go to this location quite a bit . Yesterday I ordered a free frappè on the mobile app took the 4500 points but when I got to the restaurant the guy in the window told me the machine is down that I cant get the frappè. Okay cool, so I ordered food as I do every morning when I got to the window I was asked if I had a mobile order but before I could get another word out my mouth the window was shut in my face . Once I got his attention and attempted to explain the situation and he didnt hear a word that I said and I had to clarify it countless times . Severe incompetence. Was extremely rude and had nothing but an attitude the whole time that could of easily been avoided had he actually listened to what I was trying to say instead of just closing the window in my face and walking away . Manager has the recite and the time stamps on it . The points was never added back to the mobile app when I was told I "couldnt" get it yesterday. If there is gonna be that level of incompetence he does not need to be in the window . And when I pulled up to the window he was standing there scratching his head with no gloves on and proceeded to make my drinks with unwashed hands . Utterly appalled at the horrible experience.

walked inside because the drive-thru was long. lots of yelling and screaming going on between an elderly woman who works there and some of the other employees. lots of other employees arguing with each other. in the back. The elderly woman who works there was nasty to multiple other employees. One of the employees children running around the lobby making a mess everywhere. what a nightmare. The young lady who took my order was very nice, but it was obviously taking abuse from the older lady who worked there. Management really needs to step in here, especially with the employees children running all over the store.
