McDonald's Menu Prices at 411 N Val Vista ★3.4 (2094)

The stench from the dumpsters while waiting for orders to be completed...will ruin the food 🤮 not to mention the accidents waiting to happen when we back out of the waiting spaces. Overall bad design 🧐🤢 Customer service is great. Frappes are usually beautiful.

The breakfast / sometimes lunch employees are awesome. Especially this week, my favorite is the newer girl. I think she said her name was Chloe, she is amazing! Very kind, remembers details and always compliments me with a smile and great tone. She is a ball of sunshine, not what I expected coming to a mcdonalds. Most of the managers are very kind, they’re pretty young, so I am impressed. The nighttime crew and manager sucks so don’t go at night, the ones that take your money at the first window are usually not as nice and seem like they hate their job but there’s a nice woman who always chitchats kindly, she has winged eyeliner, didn’t know her name.. Although, the biscuits are always hard, It’s great when they don’t make you pull around. I hope it stays this way, because I have had some really bad experiences here.

The amount of disrespect and lack of customer service that I not only witnessed but also became a victim of from the morning manager is actually insane and highly frustrating and honestly distasteful. I came in as a walk in with my order to go. And it started with them lacking getting orders correctly and another customer calling that out in the drive thru. She wanted to speak to the manager and get a name and the "manager" proceeded to talk poorly about the customer, refused to give her name, and then threatened to trespass the customer because she called out the lack of getting the order right and then being mistreated on top of that. For ten minutes I witnessed them poke fun and talk poorly about MULTIPLE customers coming through the drive thru. At this point - my order is called. I get all the way home only to find they charged me extra for a sauce they never put on my order, my fries were not fresh or salted as I requested, and my filet had tarter sauce I explicitly requested NOT be on the sandwich. When I came back to have it corrected - I gave the suggestion that they focus on orders and getting them out accordingly and correctly and to focus less on talking poorly about their customers and being on their phones - touching food with no gloves. She then went to the back and proceeded to talk poorly about me to her team where they all laughed (I have it all on recording). When I asked for the OWNER's phone number to file a complaint directly she rudely directed me to the generic number posted on their door which was not what was asked for and only fueled my disappointment and frustration further. This is completely inappropriate coming from a manager especially. She then attempted to get cell phone kid to come talk to me when he is not the owner or a manager and I was already annoyed with him touching his phone inside his pants to then touching people's food which I am sure is a violation of FDA regulations and guidelines. When she got snippy again with me and attempted to make me look bad for calling out her poor behavior - I called out that I also had her previous poor attitude on recording as well and that I was actively recording and continuing the poor behavior was not helping her or the situation, she then went to the back to hide behind the counter where she then threatened to trespass me! Funnier thing is she got even more upset when I checked the order before leaving and she once again got it wrong because she prioritized talking poorly about me rather than fixing the issue at hand. And to the poor lady in the drive thru - you had every single right in the book to call out that your order was wrong before leaving the store. And to her manager (because I know she called you about the drive thru lady) - she completely lied to you and took that phone call in the front line of the store instead of in the back office like a professional and I am happy to explain what really happened as a witness and a victim of this manager's behavior.

This location on Val Vista and University has an order board that has been out on the left side since July 2025. If your a customer excited to see that lane open then you are in for a bad experience. A customer got out of their car to look at the board I was trying to order from in the right lane! Pathetic! I gave a bad review in July 2025 using my receipt and was disgusted today to have that other customer angrily standing infront of the order board I was trying to use. Even the associates have given up hope of getting it fixed.

There is no such thing as fast food here. Somehow they manage to park every drive thru order and the food still comes out cold. What's the point of a drive thru here? No idea. During the Monopoly event it was maybe a 1 out of 3 chance of the Monopoly section items actually having a piece attached. A man next to me had been parked for 10 minutes waiting for a small frappe. Might as well go to an actual restaurant for these wait times.
