McDonald's Menu Prices at 5762 Mopac Expy N ★2.9 (1578)

I’ve been going to this McDonald’s infrequently for many years, always for coffee, but occasionally for a quarter pounder, this time for coffee. There are two drive-through lanes and 16 parking spots for pickup and delivery services. This leaves parking for dine-in customers in the back. The serivice for dine-in customers reflects the parking for dine-in customers. While I stood at the register ready to order, I watched 4 employees, including the manager in social interaction, interrupted by occasional work. Another employee seemed to have been assigned the task of waiting on the dine-in customers. My order came up pretty quick (how hard is coffee). The seating in the front faces east and in the dinning room the windows face north. This would be a good place for a quiet start to the day, except for the piped-in music and the TV in the dinning room. I noticed that there were no homeless in the store. All of the employees seem to speak Spanish, and most seem equally proficient in English. There is no beverage bar.

This is the closest McDonald's to where we live, and I have eaten there many times, despite the fact that they consistently overcook their burgers, making them well done and relatively tasteless. I recently visited because they are currently serving McRibs, which if you like them (and I do), are consistently flavorful and not overcooked. However, on this visit, I was told that my request for a small cup of water would result in a $1.19 charge (plus tax), a first time any U.S. restaurant, or fast food place, has been greedy enough to charge for a cup of tap water for someone ordering food. The manager confirmed that this is their policy (although I had never been charged before), and McDonald's customer "service" now says charges for water may depend on the size of the cup. If you care about being ripped off, I suggest you visit other locations, and you may have to ask first to see if they are as foolish as this one.

I pass this McDonald's on my way to work. I have stopped by to get breakfast off and on for years. Last few trips I noticed the speed at which they have produced the food I ordered has been great. My simple order gets filled between paying and delivery window. Queue is short. Whatever the changes that was made, it's working. Keep up the good work!

Check the lids of your drinks. It’s 10:30 AM. I’m on the way to work. Stopped for a quick breakfast and as I’m pulling out of the drive-through, I go and take a sip of my drink to have half of the cup spill on me. They did not secure the lid of my Diet Coke so now I guess I’ll be wearing it to work. :(

Inconsistent. Have been to the drive through more than once where they are either closed and don't tell you, or most recently, were having maintenance done and allowed cars to not move for more than 10 minutes without coming out and telling anyone what was going on. Most of us just drove off without receiving our order. Customer service is slow to offer a refund and I'm not sure if I'll get one. Also, too often they allow fries and nuggets that have been sitting too long to be added to your order. Basically gambling with going to this location. People working there are friendly enough, though.
